CCC Verify offers online tools allowing commercial verifiers including bank lenders and employment background check companies to directly and securely verify MIT employment information.
Direct the bank or commercial verifier to contact CCC Verify, MIT’s designated provider of employment and income verification.

If you are an employee or a student you can log in to the CCC Verify website to retrieve information and reports.
Create an account using the last 4 digits of your MIT ID number as your PIN. (Your MIT ID number is located on the lower-left corner of the front of your MIT ID card.) Follow directions as specified on the CCC Verify log-in page (see screenshot below).
You have the option to download a verification report from CCC Verify and provide it directly to a landlord or use it for other cases where you need to provide employment and wage verification. You also can create an employment verification letter on MIT letterhead for job or immigration purposes (see Step #3 below).

If you are an unpaid scholar (e.g., visiting scientist or fellow with external funding), please contact HR/Payroll or your department administrator for assistance.
If you are a paid employee and the CCC Verify generated letters do not provide the detail required, such as job description or a list of duties, please contact your department administrator to create a letter that addresses your specific need.
CCC Verify and VPF HR/Payroll are able to provide a standard employment letter with the position title, dates of employment, and salary only.
