Payments and Reimbursements Tool Now Available in Atlas

The Payments and Reimbursements tool is now available in Atlas. Visit Manage Reimbursements (RFPs) in Atlas or access the tool via the mobile Atlas application.

What Has Changed

The tool has been available to the MIT community for over a year, but this is the first time it has been accessible directly within Atlas. The Manage Reimbursements (RFPs) page now includes a direct link to the application.

About Payments and Reimbursements

The tool provides a modernized, streamlined experience for small-dollar payments and reimbursements. Requests may be reviewed and submitted in Atlas, and approved and tracked through Buy-to-Pay (B2P).

This application offers a number of benefits and improvements to the previous payment system, namely:

  • Security: The tool reduces vulnerability to cyberattacks and gives external individuals a secure way to register and maintain their account and banking details.
  • Simplicity: The tool represents a unified, streamlined experience within Atlas and B2P.
  • Efficiency: The tool enables quick payment to recipients via direct deposit.
  • Transparency: The tool offers full visibility into payment approval and transmission status.
