Deposit cash at the bank

If you need to deposit cash, contact VPF Accounts Receivable for a deposit slip.

You can then make your deposit at either of these Bank of America locations serving the MIT community:

84 Massachusetts Avenue in the Stratton Student Center (Building W20)

92 Ames Street in Kendall Square

 

If you need more deposit slips, contact VPF Accounts Receivable.

Please do not send cash to VPF through campus or U.S. mail.

Use a Deposit Form for checks

Fill out the Check Deposit Form. Be sure to include your Cost Object and the G/L Account name.

Send to VPF Accounts Receivable

Send the completed Deposit Form, along with the checks to VPF Accounts Receivable, NE49-3000 via MIT campus mail.

Review your account

Accounts Receivable will deposit your checks within two business days of receipt. The deposit will be reflected in the Cost Object and G/L Account you designated on the Deposit Form.

Review your activity

If your DLC receives check payments on a more frequent basis, see Deposit Checks and Cash on a Regular Basis. VPF Accounts Receivable can set up an account for your area with Bank of America and provide you with deposit slips. You can then make deposits at the bank.
