VPF has created a new online training course that is now required for all new cardholders and strongly recommended for existing cardholders. The training is designed to ensure compliance with Institute and federal policies related to business travel on behalf of MIT. The course, Travel Policies for the Traveler, is available in the Atlas Learning Center. In addition, VPF has developed a course specifically for approvers of travel expense reports, found here: Travel Policies for the Approver.
Download the individual travel card application form here. Fill it out and have it signed by your DLC's Director, Administration and Finance (DAF). The card will be mailed to your DAF. You should allow five business days for processing.
Download the department travel card application here.
Review MIT Travel Card policies and updated expense reporting requirements to understand the proper use of the card, and to learn the difference between the Travel Card and the Procurement Card (ProCard).
