Action Required on Journal Vouchers by Feb. 5

Due to a system change to the Journal Voucher workflow scheduled for the evening of Thursday, Feb. 5, any JVs still in a “parked” or “rejected” status at 5 pm on that day will need to be recreated. To manage this situation and avoid the need to recreate your work, please make sure all of your JVs are posted on a DTR by 2/5/09.

To ensure this, please see that:

• All rejected JVs created through Tuesday, Feb. 3, are cleared from your JV Inbox
• Any JVs you may have parked are completed

For JVs created near the deadline, on Wednesday, Feb. 4, and Thursday, Feb. 5, the Office of the Vice President for Finance (VPF) -- Journal Vouchers will contact you if one of your JVs is to be rejected. If you need assistance concerning this, please contact us at journal-vouchers@mit.edu.
