Responsibilities of the Sponsored Projects Accounting Office
- Funding of all Government and Non-Government Sponsored Projects via letter of credit and various types of billings;
- Balancing and reporting cash position for government sponsors;
- Monitoring the sponsored research accounts receivable;
- Collection of funds, through the dunning process, phone conversations and email correspondence with all sponsors;
- Auditing and closeout of all research WBS elements;
- Final/interim financial reporting as required by the sponsor;
- Monitoring cost sharing, F&A, EB and under-recovery amounts for accuracy;
- Various Institute reporting.
